I know, I know… I’ve been a tad behind! What can I say, life is busy, but never better Hope you haven’t given up on me yet!

Taking the summer off of school has been the best thing since sliced bread. I’ve learned to take in the small things, and how appreciative I am of NO SCHOOL STRESS! Already back from a week long vacation to visit some pretty awesome fam – of course, I dreaded leaving! We had a BLAST!

Since the Spring semester let out, I’ve had a change of heart for what my plans for the future will be… and changed my major after already being in college for 4 years! I can’t say I’m too excited about the time frame, but pretty stoked about what doors will open for me!

…but I’m back. Lots and lots have been going on, and now that summer school is alive and kickin’, the fun doesn’t stop now! So, to catch all of you up on the most recent events in my life (minus welcoming my newest niece into the world, since I haven’t seen her yet!), here are a few pics of the latest and greatest (Trip to FL, Disney, & Boys’ Graduation Party/Ceremony).

One week from the Florida trip! I couldn’t possibly be more excited!!!

Meanwhile, a little R & R poolside has been nice these last couple days at Granny & PaPaw’s (minus the rat incident). And Taylor-Tanner dates to the movies have been interesting, and Iron Man is the new favorite!

I can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief – Spring semester is OVER!!!! It couldn’t have come any sooner.. although, the little rendezvous to Seacrest Beach this past weekend helped tremendously! (Thanks again, Aunt Kim, Uncle Doug, and JT!!) Can’t wait for May 19th!!!!!!!!!!! (Until then, I should probably practice on lathering up the SPF!)

I booked my flight to Tampa yesterday afternoon AND Constance gets to come with me!!! Come on May 19th!!

So March is officially coming to an end. Crazy, right?? I’m so excited to see what April has in store: birthdays, beach trips, spring cleaning, etc.! I have been in dire need of a glimpse of light at the end of my tunnel, and I don’t think it could have come at a better time. I mean, this semester will be over in a month… one month. That’s so insane! If there was anything I have learned from this year so far, it would be: Let go, and let God. I can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

These past couple of weeks have been very trying. Though through hurt, I find compassion, and through sadness, I find joy. I am so much more capable of holding my head up higher today than I have been able to in a very long time. And to know that I made the right decision and took a stand for what I knew I needed to do is probably the best feeling I’ve ever felt in my whole life. Thank you, Lord for giving me strength! I look back with neither regret nor disbelief, because what lies ahead of me is SO much better than what is behind me! Thanks, Nic!
